Number of flights from Ukraine to Batumi will increase15 May 2015
In the season of 2015, the number of flights from Ukraine to Batumi will be increasing. An interest to increase charter and additional flights was shown by several Ukrainian airlines. From May to October this year, up to 10 flights a week will be performed from Ukraine to Batumi. According to some companies, during the active season, the number of flights could increase even more.
Ukrainian airlines Yanair has launched regular flights in the direction of Odessa-Batumi-Odessa, which are performed 2 times a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Charter flights in the direction of Kiev-Batumi-Kiev will be performed from May 31 (until 24 October), three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays (Kutaisi airport). During summer season Yanair is planning additional flights to Batumi.
Starting from June 14, another Ukrainian international airline FlyUia will start performing flights in the direction of Kiev-Batumi. Direct flights will be performed from Boryspil airport three times a week on Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays. According to FlyUia, ticket price in the direction of Batumi-Kiev will cost 88 euros, and in the direction of Batumi-Kiev-Batumi- 177 euros.
Transportation of passengers from Ukraine to Adjara will also be provided by Dniproavia airlines which will restart flights to Batumi from June 3. Dniproavia will be flying to Batumi international airport from Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk.
