Batumi hosts an international investment forum ''Batumi 2015''18 September 2015
"Hilton" hotel in Batumi is hosting an international investment forum "Batumi 2015", the aim of which is to present investment opportunities and ongoing investment projects in Georgia. Among 250 participants of the forum there are the heads of the leading companies in the fields of energy, tourism, real estate, agriculture and processing industry from 15 countries. The event was officially opened by the head of Ajara Government Mr. Archil Khabadze. International investment forum was attended by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mr. Dmitry Kumsishvili, the Head of Investment Agency of Georgia, Mr. Giorgi Pertaja, the Minister of Economy and Finance of Ajara Mr. David Baladze, the Head of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara Mr. Mamia Berdzenishvili and other officials. Participants of the forum will be provided information regarding the investment climate and priority investment sectors in Georgia.
For business representatives working in the region, this forum will give a better understanding of business environment and investment opportunities in Georgia, provide information about completed and ongoing major projects, as well as represent a platform for meetings with potential Georgian partners.
The forum is organized by the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, the National Investment Agency and the commercial consulting company on real estate «Cushman & Wakefield | Veritas Brown».
