''Marriot'' international brand enters Ajara3 September 2015
The foundation for another hotel was laid today in Batumi. 38-storey hotel will be built on Khimshiashvili street in close vicinity to the House of Justice. The symbolic capsule in the foundation was laid by Mr.Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia. The official ceremony was attended by the Head of Ajara Government Mr.Archil Habadze, Minister of Economy and Finance of Ajara Mr.David Baladze, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ajara Mr.Avtandil Beridze, the Mayor of Batumi Mr.Giorgi Ermakov and other senior officials.
"Alliance Palace" multifunctional complex will be built by "Alliance" company. Main memorandum with Marriott International has been signed and at this stage finalizing details of the contract are being developed. International hotel brand Marriott will be located on the first eight floors of the complex.
"Alliance Palace" is the first Georgian project combining an international brand hotel with residential apartments. The management of residential apartments will also be provided by an international management company. At this stage, discussions are underway with internationally recognized management companies.
Multifunctional complex with exclusive architecture will appear in the elite part of Batumi, near the sea and the boulevard. The complex will have a modern infrastructure: underground parking, indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness complex, casino, restaurants, etc.
