After Minsk “Ajara Days” will be organized in Warsaw and Astana8 April 2016
Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A.R hosted “Ajara Days” in Minsk. At informal reception which was attended by about 100 representatives from Belarusian media outlets, travel agencies and Diplomatic Corps rich immaterial culture, cuisine and wine of Georgia was promoted. During two hours guests had possibility to travel in Georgia, taste Georgian traditional dishes – Satsivi, Chashushuli, Khatchapuri and enjoy Georgian folk-lore. Master classes of Ajarian Khatchapuri and dance Mtiuluri provoked great admiration among guests. Georgian folk-lore was presented by Khelvachauri folk-lore ensemble “Atdzali”.
“The goal of “Ajara Days” is to make our guests feel that positive emotions which our folk-lore and cuisine has without visiting Georgia, to love our country and to plan their vacations in Ajara. If we take into account reactions and emotions of our guests we have definitely achieved our goal. Moreover we have provided a real trip for our guests at our evening in Ajara which will be reflected at the quality of TV reports and tours about Ajara by Belarusian media ad travel agencies” declared Mamuka Berdzenishvili – Chairman of Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A.R.
Besides Minsk Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A.R will organize “Ajara Days” in Warsaw and Astana which will further contribute to increase awareness about the region in target countries.
“Ajara Days” in target countries are organized by Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A.R and by the support of The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.
