''Mystery Guest'' in tourist facilities of Ajara3 November 2015
This summer, the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara conducted a research on service quality of tourism facilities in the region using the "mystery guest" research method.
The research was aimed at determining the level of tourism services, particularly in travel agencies, accommodation and public catering facilities. 150 tourist facilities participated in the survey, including 15 travel agencies, 60 catering facilities and 75 accommodation facilities. As a result of the research, both positive and negative factors of the tourism service sectorhave been identified.
Due to the "mystery guest" research it has become possible to identify the existing problems in this area, to develop recommendations and proposals and to identify issues for the representatives of the tourismsphere to be improved with the help of the counseling center of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara.
