The Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara at the ''Batumi-Minsk'' forum.20 November 2015
On November 20, abusiness forum "Minsk-Batumi", organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Ajarawill be held in the capital of the Republic of Belarus. During the forum, the Georgian foreign partners will get to know the legal regulationsof doing business in Georgiaand investment potential of Ajara region, as well as learn about the investment and privatization objects.
The delegation will conduct meetings with potential investors, local companies and other stakeholders. The information regarding the investment opportunities of Ajara will be provided to Belarusian colleagues in a special presentation prepared by representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Ajara. Participants will also be able to watch a video clip concerning investment potential of Ajara region in English. Presentations will also be provided by the representatives of the Department of Tourism and the Ministry of Agriculture of Ajara.
Together with a delegation from the Ministry, a visit to Minsk is planned by the representatives of private companies from various sectorssuch as construction, tourism and logistics. Such companies as "Orbi Group", "Alliance" and a hotel complex "Marina" Coliseum " will also make their presentation during the forum. They will share their experiences with local investors. The event will also be attended by the International Association of Investors and the AjaraChamber of Commerce. After the presentations, B2B meetings between businessmen are scheduled that will contribute to the establishment of business relations among the Georgian and Belarusian companies.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Ajara, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Belarus are the organizers of this event.
This business forum will be attended by the Chairman of theAjara Government Mr. Archil Khabadze, the Minister of Finance and Economy of Ajara Mr. David Baladze, the Minister of Agriculture of Ajara, Mr. Zaur Putkaradze, representatives of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara as well as other officials. The delegation will stay in Belarus until 21 November.
