From 2016 Department of Tourism starts weekly trainings28 December 2015
Two-week trainings for tourism sector employees are finished. Today trainings were summarized at Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A.R and the training participants were given special certificates. Totally 145 persons were trained during the trainings including managers, administrators, waiters, staff of reservation and cleaning services of hotels and restaurants as well as managers and representatives of travel agencies. They were trained in such important fields as service quality enhancement and standards at food places and accommodation facilities, operation of hotel departments, marketing and sales as well as modern principles for management of food places and food safety. By the organization of Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A.R trainings started on December 13 in hotel Hilton and ended on December 24 for the representatives of private sector. The goal of the training is to enhance service quality in the region. Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara is actively striving to enhance service quality in the field of tourism. For the beginning of this year the department has already trained 155 persons and in 2015 about 300 persons were trained totally. From 2016 Department of Tourism and Resorts of Ajara A.R starts new project which foresees creation of training-consultation center. It will be short –term (1 day) in frequent cases several hours training services for valid actors of tourism field which will significantly improve service quality in tourism sector.
