The Adjara Tourism Department continues popularization of the region as a four-season tourist destination via international Media. This time the image videos of Adjara, apart from CNN, BBC, EURONEWS and DEUTSCHE WELLE, are broadcasted by the top-rated German TV channels “RTL” and “NTV”.

The German TV company “RTL” is one of the leading commercial channels, which, apart from Germany, is broadcasted in Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and the countries of Eastern Europe. According to the 2017 data, it rates third among top German channels. As for “N-TV”, it mainly presents the news and informative programs.

“In 2017-2018, we actively started to use Medias popular in Europe and generally in the world market. The goal of the National Tourism Administration and the Adjara Tourism Department is to diversify tourism markets. From 2017, in coordination with embassies of Georgia, we implement different activities in Europe countries. After BBC, EURONEWS, DEUTSCHE WELLE, we have started to use German top-rated channels, such as RTL and N-TV. According to recent data, they are very popular among population and remain on the leading position in the list of top-rated televisions. The videos for German audience are in German language. The goal of the campaign is to present our region as an attractive four-season tourism destination. The Tourism Department will continue its international campaigns, especially in Europe”, stated the head of the Adjara Tourism Department, Sulkhan Ghlonti.
