Information

Situated just outside Batumi city center, along the sea front, The Batumi Arts Center is the home of the Batumi State Symphony Orchestra, Batumi State Cappella, Batumi State Musical Center Opera Studio, Musical Theatre of Youth, and quartet “NOTA”. The Batumi Arts Center was reconstructed in 2011 by the architect, Vladimer Khmaladze. The Center has 1100 seats in the main auditorium and presents over 150 concerts and events every year from classical music, opera to traditional folk dance and film. There is a small café ‘Art Café’ open prior to performances serving a range of drinks and snacks, including traditional Georgian coffee made by stirring the coffee on hot sand.
