Makhuntseti Bridge

Date: IX-X centuries

Makhuntseti Bridge is located 54 km away from Batumiin the village of Makhuntseti on the Batumi–Khulo central motorway. The bridge is large and is supported by rocky piers. Volcanic rocks were used for the creation of a a lime mortar. Additional stone rows show that it had been restored several times. In 2008, the bridge was fully reconstructed.
