Khevsureti is an ancient and noble region in Georgia. Frozen in time, Khevsureti is a beautiful portrait of Georgian culture and landscape.

The village of Shatili was once the main defense of Georgia’s northern border. It is a fortress town that is located in a strategic location, which provided it with excellent defenses.

Mutso is another historic Khevsuretian village. There are several towers and castles, as well as other historic buildings, which have made it a popular destination for tourists and alpine enthusiasts.

Khevsuretians were excellent hunters and warriors. According to the legend, they were also the worshipers and protectors of the Brolisko Icon of Archangel.
