An international animated film festival “Tofuzi” was established in 2009 in Batumi. The Festival goals are to encourage the exchange creative experience, search for new ideas, styles and technologies as well as to support integration of Georgian animation into the global cinema process. During the festival film screenings, seminars, workshops, discussions and meetings take place that favor establishment of new contacts and friendships.

Winners are revealed by an international jury (with 5 members), children jury (9 children) and online voting. The festival is organized by an animation development fund: www.adf.ge
