Kazakh journalists are preparing reports and articles about tourism opportunities in Adjara. About 10 journalists of the top-rated TV companies and media houses are visiting the region at the invitation of the Tourism Department. 

They have already visited the basic sights of Batumi, Botanical Garden and Gonio Fortress. The journalists also enjoyed the dolphin show and took part in the culinary master class of cooking Adjarian khachapuri. Besides, they traveled to mountainous Adjara and got acquainted with its tourism products. More particularly, they passed Keda Wine Route, visited the local wine cellar, where they enjoyed local dishes and wine accompanied by Georgian folk music. The guests also attended the championship in Kazakh wrestling held in Batumi.

Kazakhstan is an interesting tourist market for Adjara and the number of Kazakh visitors is growing from year to year. Apart from organizing info and press tours, the Tourism Department carries out active outdoor and online advertising activities in Kazakhstan.
