Adjara Tourism Department continues to invite tourism agencies from target countries. This time, leading tourist companies of Azerbaijan are getting acquainted with the tourism possibilities of Adjara. Today, they have carried out business meetings with local colleagues and discussed mutual cooperation. Azerbaijani guests have already visited Batumi attractions, Botanical Garden and hotel infrastructure. Today, they are going to visit Keda, taste local wine and cuisine. Folklore show will be held in the Wine House for the guests.

Azerbaijan represents to Adjara the traditional target country, where the popularization of our region has been going on for years. Consequently, the number of Azerbaijani visitors in Adjara is also growing. This year the flights from Baku to Batumi will be launched. “Buta Airways” will start to operate flights from the 14th of June twice a week, every Friday and Sunday. Air company’s fleet consists of Embraer E190, Airbus A319 and A320.
