Anually in October, in Shuakhevi municipality a folk festival Shuakhevoba is held. On this day, in a specially organized pavilions, different household, cultural, ethnographic and traditional customs, typical to this area are demonstrated , folklore works are presented and honorary citizens of Shuakhevi are elected.
