The process of setting up information stands in the museums, accommodation and catering facilities and other active tourist places is going on. The Tourism Product Development Agency is planning to place information stands in 20 other tourism objects before the summer.

The stands displaying maps, guides and the tourist routes of mountainous Adjara will simplify travelling around the region. At this point, tourist-information stands are located at 60 tourism objects, with 20 more to be added by the summer.

Any interested tourism object can get an information stand free of charge. Whoever wishes should contact the Tourism Product Development Agency on the following numbers +995 422 29 44 22 / 577 90 90 93 or send a request on e-mail - agency@gobatumi.com. The provision and maintenance of the information (on the stands) is held by the Tourism Product Development Agency.

” We have started this project since 2017 and at 60 tourism objects travelers have opportunity to get general information about our region right at the place. They can get acquainted with our tourism products and easily plan their travelling, entertainment or just a walking tour around the city. Of course, for additional information visitors can go to the tourist-information centers where they can get any information regarding tours, tourism possibilities and products”, stated Tinatin Zoidze, the director of the Tourism Product Development Agency of the Adjara Tourism Department.
