One more museum is opened in Ajara

One more ethnographic museum was opened in Ajara. Kemal Turmanidze Ethnographic Museum in Khelvachauri began functioning from the end of May, 2016. The Tourism Products Development Agency arranged an info tour for the acting travel agencies within Ajara for popularization of the museum. The founder of the museum, Kemal Turmanidze held a presentation for the representatives of the agencies and spoke about the ethnographic departments represented in the museum. Cooperating issues between the travel agencies and museum was also discussed at the meeting. Kemal Turmanidze Ethnographic Museum is stretched over 3000 m2 in the open air. The items and materials reflecting the lifestyle and traditions of the region are represented in more than 15 thematic spaces of the museum.
